Breakfast
The oldest
part of the building is the vaulted cellar. Built
originally as a warehouse for goods which were brought
here along the canals, it serves today as a magnificent
setting for your buffet breakfast.
Breakfast is always included in your rate and is served
from 730am till 1030am.
Breakfast on bed can lighten up your trip. Surprise
your partner. There’s a supplement to pay of
only 5 Euro per person. |

Bar
Since 1st
January 2007, a new law has been introduced in
Belgium, saying that you may not smoke anymore in
the public areas of the hotel.
Our bar is open the whole day till midnight.
Except of a
very limited number of standard rooms, the rooms are non
smoking. You can smoke on our terrace.

Terrace
Relaxing on our quiet terrace
with a book, a drink, … between the nice flavour
of our flowers and plant life. Our superior rooms
overlook the patio.

Garage
The building disposes of some
covered parking lots with key at the rate of
15 Euro / night.
Important: first request availability and then, when
there is a garage available, reserve your garage in
advance.
Reserved garages are available from 2pm on the day
of your arrival till 11am on the day of your departure.
Other options to park your
car in the centre:
In the streets around the hotel, a parking card is
compulsory under the following conditions:
- From Monday to Saturday
(not on Sundays or official holidays), from 9am
until 7pm, maximum parking duration is 4 hours.
A fine of 30 Euro will be due in case of non-compliance.
This also applies to foreigners.
- Metered parking in the main
streets
5 underground car parks in the city centre. Maximum
8,70 Euro/ 24 hours. The nearest underground car
park is at 5 minutes walk from our hotel and is
called ‘BIEKORF’. When you arrive at
our hotel, we could mark detailed on
a street map how to find this underground car park.
- Car park at the railway
station which is 2,50 Euro / 24 hours. Then you
could take a free bus drive to come into the centre
when you show your parking ticket to the bus driver.
Bus numbers 4 and 14 stop at one street from the
hotel. You need to get off at the Jan Van Eyck Square.
Then you go through the Spanjaardstraat. At the
end of that street, you’ll cross a little
bridge and you’ll see our hotel at your right
hand side along the canal.
- There are also 3 peripheral
car parks on the ring road within easy walking distance
of the centre.

Beauty
salon
In the hotel, Mrs Sylvie Haentjens
owns her own beauty salon. She’s specialised
in nail-treatment and –art, body treatments,
massages,… For treatments, she uses the products
of Babor Cosmetics. For information and prices, you
could always inform at the reception. As she is working
alone and as she has her regular clientele, any treatments
are always on request and reservation in advance is
advised.
